Back Support Belts

Most back belts fail in one of the 2 ways. The cheap elastic ones from the chemist squeeze your waist but stabilize nothing. The stiff medical braces support well but trap heat and dig in, so they're off by lunchtime. Support only works if you keep it on. AGEasy belts use internal stays for real spinal stabilization, with contoured, breathable panels built to stay comfortable through a full Indian day. From everyday lumbar support to firm post-strain hold, each belt is designed for older bodies and backed by Antara Senior Care, part of the Max Group.

Find the Right Back Support Belt for Your Pain & Posture Needs

Spine Pro Belt

Everyday lower-back and sacral support for stiffness, long sitting, and mild daily strain. Your starting point is when the pain is nagging but not severe.

LS Belt – Contoured

Curved to follow your lumbar arch, so it supports the natural hollow of your lower back instead of flattening it. Best for posture and all-day comfort. Our most-reviewed belt.

LS Belt – Non-Contoured

Firmer flat-panel compression across the lower back and abdomen. This is for when you need more hold than flex: lifting, prolonged standing, or recovering from a strain.

Ergolift Posture Corrector

Draws the shoulders back to ease upper-back and neck strain from screens and stooping. This one is for posture, not lower-back pain.

Spine Pro Max Belt

Maximum stabilization with reinforced support for stronger, more persistent lower-back pain. The most rigid hold in the range.

FAQs

A back support belt accomplishes 2 functions that help relieve pain. First, it adds compression to the soft tissues surrounding the lower spine, which helps lessen the swelling in that region. Second, it helps limit the annoying repetitive small movements that further irritate the strained muscle and/or ligament. By adding stability to the lumbar region, it allows the strained section to rest while you keep moving, which is why it is most effective during the activities that cause pain, such as bending, lifting, or even sitting for prolonged periods.
The most effective back support belt is the one that best fits your needs. The following information outlines the effectiveness of the following belt types: Contoured LS belt - most effective for posture with the ability for comfortable long wear Non-contoured / firm belt - best support for hold with minimal flexibility Posture corrector - adjusts the upper back and shoulders and has no effect on the lower back Maximum-support belt - most effective for strong and persistent pain due to reinforced support Belt effectiveness really comes down to pain location and intensity for support with the ability for comfortable long wear.
It is best to wear the support belt snug, not overly tight. The belt should only be worn during activities that cause pain. It should also be removed during sleep to allow the spine to move and rest. The belt is not a substitute for physio or strengthening exercises to help reduce pain from a strained back. It is important to still perform a full range of movements and exercises.
For the right one, back pain location is the most important. If it's lower back pain, get the LS belt. If it's upper back or shoulder pain, get the posture corrector. If the pain is even more intense, get the Max belt. For belt size, the waist measurement should be done at the level of the belly button. This measurement should be cross-referenced with the size chart. A loose belt won't provide stabilization support. A belt that is too tight won't stay on.
Yes. The front Velcro strapping is adjustable and easy for users with limited mobility and/or stiff hands to put on and adjust. This ease of use is a huge factor for a belt that actually gets used.
For use in the hot Indian climate, the belt was designed with airflow in mind and is specialized for extended use. The most optimal of the belt designs for use during the day is the contoured LS belt.
You can wear it daily, but you should wear it only for the activities that you experience pain while doing, which may be lifting, sitting, or standing. Don't wear it while you sleep, your muscles need to be able to move and strengthen without the belt.
A back support belt relieves the strain and helps support the lower back, but it cannot treat herniated discs, sciatica, or any diagnosed conditions of the spine, and it cannot strengthen your back. If your doctor has diagnosed you with any structural issues, then the belt should only be used as your doctor has instructed while you are also participating in physiotherapy.
