What does the voice say after a reading?
After the measurement is complete, the device announces your results in full English sentences: 'Your systolic pressure is [value]. Your diastolic pressure is [value].' The pulse rate is displayed on screen. The voice is clear and slow paced so that it can be easily understood. You can mute the voice through the device settings if you prefer silent operation.
Is the voice available in Hindi?
No. The voice is only offered in English. Hindi speaking users can utilize the large LED display of the device that is supplemented with the WHO colour indicator. This display provides the same information that would be offered through the voice feature but does not require voice reading, and can be easily understood without knowledge of the English language.
What is the WHO colour indicator and how do I read it?
How is this different from the AGEasy One Touch Digital BP Monitor?
Can two people in the same household share this device?
Yes. The monitor has 2 memory modes that are independent and can store 90 readings each. Use the SET button to alternate to User 1 or User 2 prior to each measurement. User 1 and User 2 readings do not affect each other, and both are able to view their own measurement history.
What does the error message mean if it appears?
When a reading is interrupted, an error or alert message will be displayed. This is usually due to measurement interference from the user’s arm, incorrect placement of the measurement cuff, or the cuff being too loose or tight. Error or alert messages require that the cuff be removed and placed again, and measurement should be taken after a brief rest. Constant error messages may be due to the cuff being of an incorrect size for your arm circumference.
