How is this different from other AGEasy arm BP monitors?
The primary difference is the form factor. Other AGEasy arm monitors have a separate monitor unit connected to the cuff by a tube. This device integrates the display into the cuff itself, so there is no tube and no separate unit to place on a table. The display is on your arm when you take the reading. It also has three-user memory (two primary users plus a guest mode), announces all three values aloud including pulse rate, and includes a cuff wrapping guide indicator before each measurement begins. The warranty is 1 year versus 2 years on some other models in the range.
What does the Cuff Wrapping Guide indicator tell me?
Before the cuff begins to inflate, the wrapping guide indicator displays if the cuff is properly positioned on the arm. If the cuff is too loose, positioned at the wrong angle or is or at the wrong height, the indicator will show this before the measurement is taken. This gives you a chance to make adjustments to ensure an accurate reading rather than continuing to take a reading with the cuff positioned incorrectly and getting an inaccurate result.

What does the heartbeat irregularity indicator mean?
Irregular heartbeat patterns, detected during the test, are symbolized on the device display, along with your test results. This cannot be considered a diagnosis. This only means that there was an irregular heartbeat pattern, during this device evaluation session. One time occurrence is probably nothing. If the symptom occurs during multiple test evaluations, you may want to take this to your doctor and provide them with the readings you have documented.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
The display shows a heartbeat irregularity symbol if your reading shows an irregular pulse. This symbol indicates an irregular pulse but is not a diagnosis. An irregular pulse in a single session is not usually a concern. If the heart irregularity symbol is continuously displayed in your readings, you should bring it up to your doctor, along with your stored readings.
